  • On Google Maps, it looks like the bridge has only one sidewalk, presumably used in both directions. What's to stop someone from changing their mind halfway across and going back to the originating country without getting deported? Commented Jan 14, 2015 at 23:55

    If your plan is just to cross half-way and turn back, then yes, I believe you can do it without entering the US - however you will still need a passport and (if required) a multi-entry visa to Canada. However the original question was regarding visiting the US side of the falls which requires entering the US.
