I will lose weight when the time is right: Sai Lokur
A newbie mom Sai Lokur has been at the receiving end of constant body-shaming. Sai, who became a household name with her stint in 'Bigg Boss Marathi', on many occasions have responded to trolling with her befitting replies.
Recently, she opened up about weight gain post pregnancy. Taking to her social media she uploaded a fun reel and shared, Though I made a fun reel on it, it's still quite a sensitive topic.
Pregnancy weight gain is real. It could be 8kgs in one woman and 25kgs in another. It depends on every individual.
And no matter what you do, this is inevitable. We are growing an entire human being inside of us and that's no joke. Honestly no woman wants to spoil her figure or gain weight (sic)."

She further said, "But we still do it happily and willingly for our babies. In the process we go from size Small to Double XL. Our clothes don't fit us anymore. We are body shamed by everyone. We have so many restrictions as to diet and work out. We go through so much physically and emotionally. But due to the society's pressure we are in a hurry to lose weight after delivery. Well let me tell you, I am not. I will lose weight when the time is right and you will see it. But right now it's not my priority. Any alterations in my diet right now could affect my milk supply and I don't want that. I want to breastfeed my daughter atleast for one full year and that's a decision I have made for myself and my baby. So I am ok being the way I am right now."

Sai added that she has proudly embraced her body, and said, "I agree I look fat but I am still beautiful. I accept my new clothing size and when I feel I am ready I will drop down. So to all the mommies out there. Please don't freak out about that weight you gained. Think positively. You gained weight and so ur baby turned out healthy. You will lose all the weight and get back in shape when u r ready. Don't lose ur confidence. Just focus on ur baby right now. And everything good will follow. Lots of love to all the mommies out there. One more time for everything we do (sic)."
Sai gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in December last year.
