Yamuna Srinidhi on her comeback to Kannada television after two years, says, "My daughter's belief in me has been a tremendous source of motivation"

Actress Yamuna Srinidhi is set to make her much-anticipated return to Kannada television after a two-year break. The talented actress will be seen in a unique role in the new Kannada serial 'Nanna Devaru,' which will premiere in July.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Yamuna shared her excitement about the comeback and the distinctive look and character she will portray in the new serial."I am thrilled to be back on Kannada television with 'Nanna Devaru.' The role is unique and unlike anything I've done before," she said.
Yamuna's break from television was a personal decision, driven by her desire to spend more time with her daughter after her son Vedanth moved to the USA for higher studies and her husband joined him.
"After my son moved to the USA, I felt it was crucial to be fully present for my daughter. This break provided the opportunity for us to spend quality time together," Yamuna explained.
The actress expressed her gratitude towards her daughter Lasya for her support and encouragement in taking up this new role. "I am deeply grateful to my daughter Lasya for her unwavering support and encouragement in taking on this new role. Her belief in me has been a tremendous source of motivation," she said.
Yamuna also extended her appreciation to Sruthi Naidu Productions for their flexibility with dates and times, which allowed her to balance her personal commitments and social activities. "I am grateful to Sruthi Naidu Productions for providing me with the flexibility to accommodate my personal life commitments and social activities. It has been a wonderful experience working with them," she added.
Despite her absence from television, Yamuna remained active in the film industry, being a part of successful movies like Sapthasagaradaache Ello, Ghost, and Kausalya Supraja Rama last year. She expressed her gratitude to the Kannada television and film industry for giving her diverse roles and not branding her into any one type of role.
"I am thankful to the Kannada industry for considering me suitable to play any type of role. This diversity has enriched my acting career," she noted.
