Kannada actor Arjun Ramesh is once again set to portray the revered character of Lord Shiva, marking the third time in his acting career. The actor expressed his excitement and pride in taking on this iconic role once more.
"This marks the third time I've had the honor of playing Lord Shiva in my acting career. It's truly a blessing, and I am immensely proud of it," he said.
This project holds special significance for Ramesh, as it is produced entirely by Kannadigas, his fellow natives. "This time, I am even more elated because the makers are all Kannadigas, our fellow natives, and their efforts in creating this show are immense," he added.
Reflecting on his career choices, Ramesh revealed that he had turned down several offers after his stint on Bigg Boss Kannada OTT. "After Bigg Boss Kannada OTT, I turned down seven serials in one year. I believe that anyone can portray a common man on-screen, but taking on a mythological character presents a unique challenge," he explained.
According to Ramesh, embodying a mythological figure requires a unique blend of patience and physical strength, given the elaborate costumes and accessories. "Portraying a mythological character requires a great deal of patience and physical strength, as the costumes and accessories we wear are completely new and different from what we are accustomed to," he said.
Ramesh also emphasized his selective approach to roles, stating that he values quality over quantity in his work. "I’m not the kind of artist who takes on every opportunity that comes my way. Even if I’ve only done a few projects, I want to be recognized for the quality of the work I’ve done," he shared.
Interestingly, Ramesh's repeated portrayal of Lord Shiva has influenced his spirituality. While he initially prayed primarily to Lord Hanuman, his connection with the role of Shiva has deepened over time.

"I was not a devotee of Lord Shiva until I portrayed him in a mythology show. My prayers were primarily directed to Lord Hanuman. However, playing the role of Lord Shiva has inspired me to embody a more thoughtful and introspective persona. My goal is to channel my imagination and bring the essence of Shiva to life for the audience," he concluded.
Fans of Arjun Ramesh eagerly await his latest portrayal of Lord Shiva, confident that his dedication and passion will once again bring the divine character to life on screen.
