DOMINANT DISPLAY

In a dominant display, a Sri Lankan team already eliminated from contention overwhelmed the Netherlands by 83 runs in their final Group D match at the Daren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia.

Opening batsman Kusal Mendis and middle-order player Charith Asalanka both scored 46 runs, setting the tone for the 2014 champions as they posted a formidable 201 for six – the first 200-plus total ever recorded at this ground in a T20 International.
