"My cheating husband wants to make it right but it feels forced"

Query: I caught my husband cheating and now he wants to really make things work between us. He’s planning dinners, outings and taking out time to talk, something we barely did before. I see the effort but all of it seems very forced. Am I overthinking?

However, if he's truly remorseful and wants to make things right, he'll likely be more genuine in his efforts. If you're not sure whether or not your husband is being genuine, pay close attention to how he behaves over the next few weeks. If his efforts seem forced or if he's not putting in as much effort as he was before, then it's likely that he's only trying to make things look good on the surface and alleviate his guilt.
