NEW DELHI: The national capital experienced heavy rain on Thursday night and Friday morning, resulting in widespread waterlogging across the National Capital Region. A video from the Lodhi Estate area shows Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav being helped by members of his staff and others as the area around his residence became completely inundated.
Yadav's party members carried him to his car due to the severe waterlogging.

In the video posted by news agency ANI, Yadav can be seen being escorted by his aides. Meanwhile, according to IMD’s formal announcement, the Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into more parts of West Rajasthan, remaining parts of East Rajasthan, parts of Haryana, entire Delhi, parts of West Uttar Pradesh, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, parts of East Uttar Pradesh, and remaining parts of Uttarakhand.
