'Kalki 2898 AD' makers confirm sequel, reveal shoot almost completed!

The first part of 'Kalki 2898 AD' ends with a cliff-hanging climax, leaving the audience with an open-ended finish, which in turn makes them expect the sequel to the film. However, the makers till date have not officially announced the sequel, and now the producer of the film, Ashwini Dutt, is all out with good news.
PRO Suresh took to social media to reveal that the producer of the film said that the sequel to the film is sure to hit the big screens and noted that 60% of the film has been completed.The producer mentioned that the majority of scenes have been wrapped up, and only crucial parts are to be shot.
The tweet of the public relations officer read, "#Kalki2898AD part 2 has been completed by 60%. Only major portions are left to shoot. We have not decided on a release date."
This has given the fans much more excitement, as the film's first part has been receiving a lot of positive reviews. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is a mythological science fiction starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. The sequel will feature more of Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan and their parts of the story.
