Actress Manju Warrier made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film 'Asuran' starring alongside Dhanush. She then shared screen space with actor Ajith in the film 'Thunivu', and while shooting for the bank heist, the actress developed a keen interest in bike rides and went on a trip along with the 'Mankatha' star.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Maju Warrier shared a couple of photos of her along with her friends from their recent bike ride, and the actress credited Ajith for being an inspiration and her mentor for bike rides.
The photos had Manju Warrier dressed in her riding gear. Sharing the photo, she captioned, "Falling. Mudding. And still learning... Thanks for the fun company! @bineeshchandra @ambro_46." She also tagged actor Ajith Kumar through her hashtags, mentioned him as an inspiration for her passion for biking, and credited him.
This is not the first time the actress has credited her co-star, Ajith. In 2023, sharing a video of her trying a sport bike, Manju Warrier said, "A tiny step of courage is always a good place to start. P.S.: I have a long way to go before I become a good rider, so if you see me fumbling on the roads, please be patient with me. Thank you for being an inspiration to many like me. #AK #AjithKumar, sir.”
On the work front, Manju Warrier is now awaiting the release of her film 'Vettaiyan'. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, and Manju Warrier in lead roles. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the multi-starrer is set for its release in theaters on October 10.
The actress also has the film 'Viduthalai Part 2' alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film is a sequel to the 2022 blockbuster, and it stars Soori, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Bhavani Sre. The film's music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, and the final parts of the shooting are underway and will soon be wrapped up. Manju Warrier plays Vijay Sethupathi's wife in the film, and the actor once revealed that the romantic parts between him and the actress are shot amazingly.
