Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt match steps to 'Show Me The Thumka' at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet - watch video

The much-anticipated wedding of the year, that of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, is set to take place on July 12, in a grand three-day ceremony in Mumbai. The pre-wedding festivities have already been in full swing, with the couple kicking things off with a Mameru ceremony on July 4. This was followed by a starry sangeet ceremony, which was held on Friday at the NMACC in BKC, Mumbai.

The sangeet event was a star-studded affair, with numerous Bollywood celebrities in attendance to celebrate the couple's love.One of the highlights of the evening was an electrifying performance by power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. In a video that has gone viral on social media, the two can be seen on stage, along with their dear friend Akash Ambani. The trio grooved to 'Show Me The Thumka' from Ranbir's movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. The song, originally featuring Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor, saw Alia doing a commendable job as she joined her husband on stage.
Apart from the Kapoors, Justin Bieber was roped in to deliver a special performance for the sangeet and he had the audience glued throughout the mini-concert. The popular singer soon left Mumbai after his performance and was spotted taking a flight to the USA via a private terminal on Saturday early morning. Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh also showed off their signature moves on stage during the sangeet celebration.
Other Bollywood celebrities who graced the sangeet included Deepika Padukone, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Vidya Balan, Aryan Khan, and Navya Naveli Nanda among others. The Ambani family is leaving no stone unturned to make Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding celebrations a memorable affair.
