Pashmina Roshan: Dreamt of becoming an actor on 'Koi...Mil Gaya' set; despite privileges, it's been a hard journey - Exclusive

Pashmina Roshan who recently made her debut with 'Ishq Vishq Rebound' belongs to a filmy lineage. While her debut film with Rohit Saraf and Jibraan Khan got mixed reviews, it's quite a challenge for the newbie to live up to the legacy that is created by her uncle Rakesh Roshan, cousin Hrithik Roshan and her father, composer Rajesh Roshan. While it may seem like Pashmina's journey so far may have been easy, it doesn't seem so.During a chat with ETimes, the debutant had revealed, "Even though I come from a family of legacy and I've had priviledges, it's been a hard journey. I've had to give a lot of auditions and after years of facing rejection in auditions, I got 'Ishq vishq Rebound' that I think it was written for me. Because I would have never ever believed that i will get an opportunity like this. The way everyone treated me is like an icing on the cake which is already so delicious."
She reveals the exact moment when she dreamt of being an actor. "I've had this dream of becoming an actor first when I was on the sets of 'Koi...Mil Gaya' and I was very small, so I can say it may be 20 years ago. And now it came true, so it's scary. So, what do you do next and what's the correct way? In my head, I know the correct way perhaps is to keep working hard and keep working diligently and that's what I'm just going to do," revealed Pashmina.
Post 'Ishq Vishq Rebound', it's like a fresh start for Pashmina again. But she's quite realistic about the expectations from her. Pashmina added, "For me it's just the beginning of my journey. What the rest of my family has achieved is very great and for me to get there, it's going to be a long journey and will need a lot of hard work. As of now, when I see my performance, I see scope to get a lot more better and areas that I can work on. Now it's going back to square one, going back to those rounds of auditions and find work. But I will keep working hard."
