In an interview with Hindustan Times, Glory Bawa expressed her gratitude and described Akshay Kumar's gesture as more than just financial assistance, emphasizing that he refused to call it help but rather likened it to what a brother would do for his sister.
The support comes at a crucial time for Glory, who has been the sole earner in her family following the passing of her mother and sister.
"I don’t have words to explain what it means to me," Glory expressed, touched by the generosity shown by Akshay Kumar. She highlighted the importance of finding work opportunities in addition to financial aid, expressing hope that her plea for support will bring meaningful opportunities for artists like herself.
