Chief minister Siddaramaiah has instructed officials to organise regular health camps across the state. Speaking after inaugurating a free health check-up and treatment camp for Vidhana Soudha staff, he said, “People who go without physical activity are more likely to fall ill. Physical and mental activity is necessary.” He said lifestyles and food habits are adversely affecting people’s health and that the state govt is constantly designing and implementing programmes to ensure everyone has access to healthcare and treatment.
“Addictions can happen with peer pressure. But we must always be vigilant and protect ourselves.”
