\NewEnviron for custom-scaled align* environment fails to compile with any ampersands (&)
I want to increase only the text size of equation environments. I found this on another post:
\NewEnviron{myalign}{%
\begin{align*}
\scalebox{1.5}{$\BODY$}
\end{align*}
}
It seems to work,...

Avoid small tag in `align` environment wrapped around `small`
I am working in an align environment, where I have a long equation. To make it fit within the line width, I wrap a small environment around the align one:
\begin{small}
\begin{align}
...
\end{align}
\...
