The following Terms and Conditions shall constitute a Contract of Agreement between you as a participant in an event and TechForge Media Ltd.
Privacy
TechForge Media Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This statement outlines our practices in relation to information about yourself, which you submit to us in order to register with TechForge Media Ltd exhibitions and use the website.

TechForge Media Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions (without notice) from time to time and you will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that the event is staged.
Event Admissions Policy:
TechForge Media Ltd reserves the right to reject admission of any individuals who are not deemed to be relevant industry professionals.
By attending any TechForge Media Ltd event, visitors agree not to take part in any canvassing, leafleting, unauthorized demonstrations, objectionable behaviour, or any activity which may disrupt the Event. Failure to adhere to this could result in being asked to leave the Event.
All visitors must register in their own name and display a valid visitor badge. Registrants must not allow their badge to be worn by anyone else. Breaching this policy is likely to lead to the badge holder and the person wearing the badge being expelled from the event and future events by TechForge Media Ltd.
There is no entry to those under 18 years old unless previously authorised. Please make alternative childcare arrangements, TechForge Media Ltd offer no childcare facilities at the Congress.
Event Cancellations & Refunds policy:
Full refunds cannot be provided. You may be able to transfer your ticket to an alternative event, or to a colleague if you cannot attend the booked event.
-If the cancellation request is received 2 or less months before the conference date: 100% of the ticket cost will be owed by the delegate
-If the cancellation request is received between 2 and 4 months before the conference date: 80% of the ticket cost will be owed by the delegate
-If the cancellation request is received 4 or more months before the conference date: 50% of the ticket cost will be owed by the delegate.
Force Majeure:
TechForge Media Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations, including cancelling or rescheduling an event, if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster; strikes or labour disputes; terrorist attack, civil unrest or riots, war, threat of war or other armed conflict, the imposition of sanctions or embargo; infectious diseases, epidemic or pandemic, biological, nuclear or chemical contamination; any law, action or directive given or taken by a government or public authority; collapse of building, accidents, or fire; breakdown of plant or machinery; or the interruption or failure of a utility service (“Force Majeure”).
TechForge Media Ltd will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if an event for which you have registered is affected by a Force Majeure. Such notice may be given by email (even if you have not signed up for marketing emails) or by a statement published on this website.
If TechForge Media Ltd is forced to delay, relocate or cancel an event due to any Force Majeure, no refunds will be given, however, TechForge Media Ltd may, at its sole discretion, exchange event tickets for entry to any future TechForge Media Ltd. event.
Event Photography, Recording & Video Taping:
During the course of any event TechForge Media Ltd events may be photographed, recorded and/or videotaped. When registering for the show you are also giving permission to be photographed, recorded and/or videotaped. By attending the Event, visitors consent to such filming and photography and TechForge Media Ltd is entitled to use all videos and photographs of visitors, for marketing and promotional purposes in all or any media, without compensation or liability.
Drinking:
TechForge Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for the actions of others while under the influence of alcohol served at any event hosted by TechForge Media Ltd, including the official party, location to be confirmed. It is also acknowledges by attendees that it is unlawful for any person under the age of 18 years old in the UK & Amsterdam, and 21 years old in United States to consume alcoholic beverages.
Health & safety / Law:
As an attendee at of any event by TechForge Media Ltd you have a duty to maintain health and safety standards for your own and others benefit.
Failure to comply with any laws, health & safety and/or restrictions imposed by the event venue(s) and/or TechForge Media Ltd, may result in immediate removal from the premises without any refund or compensation.
Eventbrite:
We use Eventbrite for event promotion and bookings. Please note that Eventbrite is a third-party service that is not owned or managed by TechForge Media Ltd. You should refer to Eventbrite’s terms and conditions of the privacy policy as we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies.
Eventbrite operates in the USA and subscribes to the EU-US Privacy Shield, which commits subscribers to adhere to European standards of data protection. For further details, please see:

Techforge Media Ltd. and obligations:
TechForge Media Ltd will at all times comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will hold Your information for the purposes of this agreement or informing You about future events or services that may be of interest to You.
TechForge Media Ltd reserves the right to postpone, relocate the venue or alter the times and/or date of the Conference. Such changes shall not affect the validity of this agreement, however TechForge Media Ltd. shall, as far as is reasonably, ensure that any such changes do not substantially affect your rights.
Limitation of Liability:
Nothing in this agreement is intended to exclude or limit any liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, the liability of TechForge Media Ltd to you (or the organisation that employs or engages you) under this agreement in respect of any single TechForge Media Ltd event is limited to the total ticket cost paid by you for that event.
You should ensure that you arrange appropriate insurance cover to meet any liabilities which are excluded by us under this agreement, including (but not limited to) any costs of travelling to and staying at or near the event.
VAT:
All prices are exclusive of VAT’ and ‘VAT may be charged in addition to the advertised price according to local regulations
Agreement:
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, oral or written. Unless expressly provided elsewhere in this Agreement, this Agreement may be varied only by a document signed by both parties.
Who we share your data with
By registering for a TechForge Media Ltd event you are consenting to your contact data being shared with third parties (event sponsors) who may contact you with products and services that may be of interest to you. You reserve the right to have your contact data not be shared by contacting the event team on query@techforge.pub
For the purpose of running the event, we will share your personal data :
- with service providers including our hosting provider, email marketing platform provider, online survey provider, analytics providers, lead generation providers
- with HM Revenue & Customs, the tax authority in the UK who require reporting of our processing activities in certain circumstances
- any third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or assets or third parties we may seek to acquire or merge with (if any change happens to our business, the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this policy)
Personal Information:
As a potential visitor to an TechForge Media Ltd. event, please read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information. By submitting your registration, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, we will be unable to accept your registration.
The personal information which you provide to TechForge Media Ltd. will be held by us on a database and, where we have appropriate authorisation/consent, may be shared with other entities within TechForge Media Ltd.
By registering for a TechForge event, submitting a contact form, or downloading any resource through our websites, you are consenting to your contact data being shared with third parties (event sponsors, and partners) who may contact you with products and services that may be of interest to you. You reserve the right to have your contact data not be shared by contacting the event team on query@techforge.pub
Your personal information may also be shared with government entities and regulatory authorities as required by law. The use that such government entities and regulatory authorities make of your personal information is outside of TechForge Media Ltd.’s control and we do not accept any liability in this regard. At some Events, exhibitors may use lead generation devices. If you choose to allow your badge to be scanned at an event, we may pass the information you provide to third parties.
By registering, or accepting an invitation to attend the event, you may be featured in the official event matchmaking tool. Your name, job title and company will be visible to other attendees, speakers, sponsors and press. Messages and meeting requests can be sent via the app platform. Contact details will not be shared. If you no longer wish to be featured in the event networking tool, you can hide your profile by logging in to your account, or by contacting the event team on query@techforge.pub
Please note if you are attending as press to any TechForge Media Ltd. event, your job title, email address and company will be visible to third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to have any of your contact details shared please contact the event team on query@techforge.pub
