Foursquare

Foursquare Labs, Inc. is a technology company that specializes in location intelligence and data solutions. Founded in 2009 by Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai, the company initially gained popularity as a social media app that allowed users to “check in” at various locations, share their activities with friends, and earn badges and rewards—a product now called “Swarm.” Over time, the company has evolved into a platform offering location services for both businesses and developers.

Foursquare’s core products include location-based analytics, advertising solutions, and developer tools that enable companies to build location-aware applications. By leveraging its vast database of user-generated location data, Foursquare provides businesses with valuable insights into consumer behavior.
