    Having the full size BOBVR M2 for the quest 2, I was looking forward to getting the BOBOVR M3 for the quest 3. Unfortunately it is out of stock due to demand, and the adapters I 3D printed didn't fit quite right. I was able to order the M3 conversion kit, but it was about a month out to ship at the time.I decided to buy this BOBOVR M3 Mini as an alternative, since I hate the stock quest 3 strap. I did not expect it to be nearly as comfortable. However, I was really surprised at how great it feels, it might even be better that the full size!Also, there is a spot on this headset to mount the external BOBOVR battery pack - and I took the one from the BOBOVR M2 headset out and it fit perfectly on to this M3 Mini. All you need to do is remove three screws from battery slot cover plate, and it swapped right into place and works perfectly!

    My son has the meta quest 3. He's been begging for a replacement head strap. He saw a review on this specific one on Youtube. I was completely out of the loop on what or how or even it was possible. I gave it a try and I am shocked these companies use the junk straps they come with instead of having something like this. It a game changer for a few bucks. It balances the headset on the kiddos head and is comfortable to wear. Again, meta....why? Why wouldn't this already have been designed and added to a proper headset that costs around $650? I highly recommend and would purchase again.

    I do a lot of VR sports. I quickly realized that the default Meta strap needed to be replaced. I started with the Elite Strap by Meta, which is well made, yet there is no extension swivel option to allow for vertical headset adjustment. I then tried another elite strap, this one was a low-end option that included the swivel, which looked much like the kiwi elite strap. This second strap was better than the Meta strap, yet it would still move some during sport games since the back adjustment wouldn't ratchet down tight enough.

    This latest strap by BoboVR is better in a couple of ways. The build quality is better overall, and it does ratchet tight in the back. Though it doesn't seem any lighter to me? The problem I had is that the part that cradles the back of your head is positioned too high for my head shape. It doesn't move, but I am certain that it would feel more secure if it was positioned at the base of my skull. As it is, it won't move lower than the mid-part. As a result, I end up ratcheting the headset tight, and as a consequence it's pressing into my face more than I would like. I would have gone with the "halo" option (the other BovoVR version), yet I've read that they move around some with sports games.

    The long and short is this, the head strap is well made, it's affordable, and it will work well for most people. I am a man with a large head, and it does fit, but I am near full extension to do so. And on a final note, I would suggest getting the battery add-on. You absolutely need the battery to counter weight the heavy Q3 VR headset if you move about at all. It's clear that the manufacturers have done their best to provide a quality product.

    I really wanted the 10,000mah swappable batteries from BoboVR but do not like halo style straps. They never feel right for me, with a good Elite style strap I forget I have a headset on where a halo jiggles too much. This one doesn't get as tight as a Kiwi Elite style strap but it's really close, and it will work with BoboVR's B100U Upgrade Kit, so this can be upgraded when that is listed on Amazon.

    I haven't gotten the battery yet but this strap is really comfortable. I have only had it for a day, I'll update this if there is any changes, but so far so good.

    The battery life on the quest 3 is just abysmal and needs an external battery and BoboVR has the best battery and with their battery add-on for this strap now there is an elite strap that can have their battery!

We also purchased the new battery adapter for these directly from BOBOVR and now these head straps are even more valuable to us. We also have the larger S3 head straps, but they are a bit bulkier.

    It is what it should be. Feels pretty comfortable, over time I forget I have it generally. My gripa with it is how bulky it still is and the plastic cover on the back makes it uncomfortable to use it while lying down. Plastic is sturdy enough, I am sure, but it certainly does not feel like solid high quality plastic. I like the way it clips on the headset, feels much safer than the default strap.
    Overall I bought this with possible future upgrade with a battery (I just would not use it right now), otherwise I would suggest looking for a different strap that's less bulky on the backside.
