Customize referral codes

We'd like to preface this article by reminding our users that affiliates are the only ones who can customize and update their referral codes. 

Affiliates can modify their referral codes by doing the following on their dashboard end: 

  1. In the affiliate portal, go to 'Programs' > Choose a program (affiliates have a unique referral code per each program they're added to) > Click on 'View' > Click on the 'Edit referral code button > Click 'Save'.

  2. A field will open, and your affiliates can modify their referral codes here. 

What happens if I change the referral code? 

When you change your referral code, the previously shared one will no longer work.

​Note: If you don't see the 'Edit referral code' button in the affiliate portal, your case does not support this kind of customization, or you're using an older version of the code. Please contact our support chat to review your case. 🙂
