  • Why are all the storage/default/moz-extension+++{tetc} files constantly updated even though the add-on settings are never touched? This is very inefficient for incremental backup as in OP's scenario.

    @Jortstek, from what I understand, those are the places where addons store their own data, like cookies and local databases. Not all addons need to do this, but the more sophisticated ones do.
