  • Yes; As long as the card will fit in your case, a PCIe x4 slot can handle the card you describe. Having no other information I can only guess you have verified the card will fit in the case.

    It only matters in terms of bandwidth to the card itself. You only asked if it was compatible.

  • @Ramhound So my understanding is that it physically fits in (because it's half-length x8, meaning it's the same as x4?) but may not operate at its full speed.
