1I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out impossible. Wine is a runtime for programs, not for drivers.– gronostajCommented Aug 29, 2022 at 17:40

You pick the one VPN that doesn't support Linux?– Señor CMasMasCommented Aug 29, 2022 at 17:41

I am pretty sure (95%+) that what you are trying to do will not work. Long time work for me with VPN.– anonCommented Aug 29, 2022 at 17:57

Thanks so much! This is exactly what I wanted to know. I use PairVPN because it's the only VPN that you can install on both your phone and your PC, tether the PC with hotspot, and it hides the hotspot data as regular mobile data to get around the data limit. Another VPN app exists but it's Android only. Since this is impossible, any idea how I could achieve this in Ubuntu? I already tried setting TTL to like 65, but that alone doesn't work. How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
