Hi @SaaranshGarg, I have tried that and restarted my laptop, and unfortunately I still cannot see the additional tab "Device Settings" :( Thank you for trying to help though, most appreciated.– user27771Commented Aug 21, 2022 at 8:47

Your mouse properties image is very partial. Which driver is used for the touchpad?– harrymcCommented Aug 21, 2022 at 10:41

The settings you showed are not Synaptics settings (I have a laptop with Synaptics). (1) Are you sure the touchpad is working (no hardware error)? (2) Update BIOS and the Synaptics driver both.– anonCommented Aug 21, 2022 at 12:05

@harrymc sorry about the partial pic, I just used it to show that the device settings tab was missing, I have added a new pic showing the driver details.– user27771Commented Aug 21, 2022 at 12:35

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
