Why do you need justification. Who are you trying to convince?– user1751825Commented Apr 28, 2016 at 11:48

Microsoft probably isn't pushing this very hard, as there's not many people still running such an old OS.– user1751825Commented Apr 28, 2016 at 11:50

1There is some serious cost in upgrading over 1000 computers... and unfortunately, 'something bad might happen in the future that we don't really know how bad it will be but it might just happen and then we're stuffed' just isn't cutting it... I've tried, they don't listen... :(– adudleyCommented Apr 28, 2016 at 11:51

Be aware not all computers can run Windows 10. I have one running Windows 7 that can't be upgraded to 10 because the CPU isn't compatible.– user1751825Commented Apr 28, 2016 at 11:52

1That's quite shocking that a company with 1000 PC's would still be running a hopelessly outdated, unsupported OS.– user1751825Commented Apr 28, 2016 at 11:55

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
