This is an extra big problem with VM's. I just added 100GB to one, but I can't extend the volume because the lame recovery partition is in the way. It's definitely worth the effort to get rid of it, and it would be even better if it hadn't been stuck there in the first place. | |

I don't need the full 450MB of that partition back - i only need like 500kB that Windows needs. Strictly speaking i don't need anything - it's the error while converting a basic disk to dynamic. And Microsoft notes that you have to give it some free space. | |
