I had the same problem. I had ctrlctrl + SpaceSpace used as a shortcut for input source in Mac. To disable this go to settings ->Keyboard ->Input Sourcessettings -> Keyboard -> Input Sources and uncheck Select the previous source. Than syso shortcut will work.
