Playing Leyline of the Void followed by Helm of Obedience: what happens? @Ivo: effects worded as ", then" are generally ruled to come as a consequence of the previous effect. for example, if a card with the text "[card] deals one damage to target opponent, then draw a card" is played, but the something prevents that damage, it is generally ruled (and magic arena also rules like this) that you will not draw a card. I'm however unaware of official rulings on this. |
