I see Mr O'Connell has now released a statement on the critical response to his claims: drive.google.com/file/d/1bm8JvblwKarpApa3kYVcWioqOaxeY1qw/view . Seems somewhat contradictory to me: on the one hand he admits "We should have held back until we had more, this we concede." On the other there are multiple claims "Do we have enough to confirm... Undoubtedly yes"... but then there's nothing concrete given to actually back that up. So changes nothing really.
