Just recently I’ve seen an article that requires skills in different domains and it’s harder to approach – not exactly a weekend project.
Make Magazine released a thorough article that covers how to make a Nuclear Fusor. Yeah even the name is cool, and I can’t really explain what it does. It’s basically an attempt at nuclear fusion, and in some cases it creates the “star-in-the-jar” effect: a really hot ball of plasma.
It looks totally cool and there are instructions on how to make this on their page:
