At Samsonite, we work hard and play hard. We recently held our annual Family Day event in Singapore, an occasion for us to unwind and bond with fellow colleagues and their families (and pets!). From lively carnival games and exciting lucky draws to a cozy outdoor movie screening and a delectable dinner under the twinkling stars, it was truly an unforgettable evening that brought us all closer together. Our people are our most important asset, and we strive to foster a culture of warmth and inclusivity where every individual feels valued and welcomed. In line with our circular economy principles, we continually seek opportunities to give our used products a second life. For example, in our annual Luggage Trade-in Program in the Philippines last year, we collected over 4,000 pre-owned luggage. Working with Envirotech Philippines, we gave some of these traded-in luggage a new lease on life by upcycling them into school chairs — which we delivered to students in the island of Marinduque, Philippines. Not only did the discarded luggage make their way into classrooms as chairs that will last for over a decade, we also saved four tons of potential waste from ending up in landfills and oceans. We also contributed a portion of the proceeds from every trade-in purchase to a charitable cause, raising over PHP414,000 (~USD7,200) through our partnership with @WWF-Philippines. Our team in China recently presented a spectacular brand showcase at the 2024 Samsonite Trade Event, in Langyuan Station Cultural Centre, Beijing!   马瑞国 (Frank Ma), President of Samsonite Group Greater China, alongside our brand ambassadors, Yang Yang, Esther Yu Shuxin and other distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the debut of our newest Samsonite Black Label Major-Lite series.    The event also exhibited the Samsonite Proxis Alu, the Essens, and other product collections, showcasing our commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.   An upbeat fashion show then took center stage, presenting the crowd with a visual feast of #Samsonite’s sleek luggage styled with urban fashion ensembles.    Congratulations to all the teams involved in this successful event!

We recently announced Tones And I as our brand ambassador for American Tourister in Australia! The singer-songwriter rose to international fame in May 2019, setting the current world record for the most streamed song by a female artist, surpassing 10 billion streams. To her, the #AmericanTourister brand is one that complements her lifestyle - with our cases having become part of her “tour family” on her recent tours. General Manager of American Tourister and High Sierra for Australia and New Zealand, Marcio Oliveira da Silveira shares, “We’re really excited that Tones And I is American Tourister’s brand ambassador, as, like her other fans around the world, we’re inspired by her authentic music and style, and the fact that she is down-to-earth and true to herself while being a superstar. Her journey to success is inspirational for young people to follow their dreams. And Tones is a really fun person with a great sense of humor, which is something we also share in American Tourister.” The “American Tourister x Tones And I” campaign will kick off this month in Australia, across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. This campaign will feature Tones And I in a series of visuals across out-of-home media platforms, including street furniture, digital billboards, shopping centers, and major rail stations.
