    [Reasons Behind Companies Posting Ghost Jobs and How to Avoid Them] 企業發布幽靈職缺的背後原因,與避免的方法 In May, Resume Builder observed an upward trend in the prevalence of fake job listings, or "ghost jobs," across different levels. Hiring managers are often behind ghost jobs. According to a survey, the motives behind this strategy include: 1. Creating an impression that the company is growing. 2. Signaling to employees that hiring is underway to reduce their workload. 3. Indicating that employees are replaceable to boost productivity. 4. Collecting resumes for future use. Of the 650 hiring managers surveyed, 70% believe that posting fake job listings is morally acceptable despite its ethical issues. Though distinguishing ghost jobs can be challenging (as some companies even conduct interviews for these roles), performing due diligence can help.
