#BREAKING DBS Bank chief executive Piyush Gupta will be stepping down after 15 years heading the bank. He will be succeeded by DBS banker Tan Su Shan as of March 2025 which is the date of the bank's next annual general meeting, according to a statement by #DBS. Tan brings solid credentials to her new role, having had more than 35 years of experience in consumer banking, wealth management and institutional banking. Besides #Singapore, she has worked in major financial centres such as #HongKong, #Tokyo and #London. She will take on the role of deputy #CEO in addition to her present role as group head of institutional #banking.

#ElonMusk's social media platform #X has sued the global advertising alliance and several major companies for #boycotting the platform. Malaysia's #DigitalInvestment has reportedly soared to RM66.22 billion in the first half of this year, demonstrating robust growth and resilience of the digital economy despite global geopolitical tensions. #Meta has apologised to Malaysian prime minister #AnwarIbrahim for removing his #SocialMedia posts related to the assassination of #Hamas political leader #IsmailHaniyeh. In an email response to #Reuters, Meta said the removal of content was an "operational error" and that the content has since been restored with the correct #newsworthy label.
