Daikin’s annual Charity Golf event returned in full swing on July 5, 2024, raising a record-breaking $100,000! This milestone coincides with Daikin’s 100th anniversary and will support programs under the care of Community Chest Singapore. Mr Donovan Chua, Managing Director of Daikin Singapore expressed his gratitude to all partners whose support has made this fundraising event possible each year. This includes the 283 golfers who took to the greens at Tanah Merah Country Club, comprising both individuals and organizations dedicated to this worthy cause. Thanks to the efforts of Daikin's dealer, Natural Cool Air-Conditioning & Engineering Pte Ltd, we successfully recovered 196.1 KG of R410a spent refrigerant. This remarkable effort is equivalent to saving 377,296.4 KgCO₂e. 🌱 Every step towards reducing our carbon footprint counts, and we are committed to continuing our journey towards a greener future. What an incredible way to kickstart June! Mr Donovan Chua , Managing Director of Daikin Singapore started Daikin's annual communication event with the company’s overall vision and targets, while Mr Khim Huat CHING , our Chairman closed the event with his concluding speech. Various managers also presented during the event, which include updates on significant project milestones on the company's sustainability direction, HDB Tengah and the renovation status in the office. The event ended off with a networking session among colleagues followed by a delightful tea break. We look forward to what 2024 can bring in the months ahead!
