Because of this, I had to use a shorter password that I had to repeat twice to make it secure (It would have took 15hr to crack but repeating it takes 377bill years to crack). I take the extra measures like that just incase an hacker has powerful hardware, or they have "donated" power which is possible for things like this.
Jan 27, 2016 at 9:09 comment added DevSolar A common procedure is to think of a pass phrase, and derive the actual password from it. You remember the phrase, but use a much more cryptic password. "Yesterday night - I had five eggs for breakfast!" --> "Yn-Ih5efb!"
