We are happy to announce that Jon Johnsson has been appointed the new CFO at Bonava.   Jon has more than 20 years of experience as CFO and from other leading roles in finance and accounting at companies including Atlas Copco, Geely and most recently as CFO of Karo Healthcare. Jon has a strong track record as a proven leader and significant experience working in decentralized companies with a strong business culture.   "I’m delighted to welcome Jon to Bonava. His strong business focus, together with his experience gained over many years from various finance roles in several industries, means that he will be contributing to Bonava’s continued development of homes and neighbourhoods," says CEO Peter Wallin. "I'm looking forward to getting to know Bonava and to contribute to developing the company further. There are many interesting projects ahead focusing on sustainable and profitable growth," says Jon. Jon will join Bonava on 2 January 2025 at the latest.

Bonava is starting production of 180 housing units in Berlin, Rhine-Main, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Saxony, with completion planned for 2025-2026.   "Production starts are the engine of our business. Germany has Europe's largest economy, and the current housing shortage corresponds to approximately 220 times Bonava's average annual production over the last five years." With our fine-tuned building system, we work efficiently and can scale production easily. In Germany, smaller phase starts and advance payments ensure good cash flow," says Peter Wallin, President and CEO of Bonava.   Bonava Germany utilizes standardized, efficient building methods, allowing flexibility to meet customers' needs and local requirements. Hur bygger man ett lyckligt grannskap? 💡 Svaret har vår affärsutvecklingschef Andreas Back, som tillsammans med teamet på Bonava snart har färdigställt grannskapet Tomtebo gård i Umeå. ”Vi är stolta över att vi på så kort tid, tack vare ett väldigt fint och dedikerat samarbete i teamet, lyckats skapa nya hem för nästan 450 familjer – och där de flesta redan har flyttat in”, berättar Andreas. Exciting News from Bonava in the Baltics!   We're thrilled to announce the start of production on three new housing projects in the region, bringing a total of 240 homes to Vilnius, Tallinn, and Riga. 🏡 In Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, our Forest Gate neighbourhood will offer 101 energy-efficient and close-to-nature homes just 7 kilometres from the city centre. 🏡 In Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, we're commencing the final phase of the neighbourhood Pikaliiva Kaarmaja, featuring 81 homes in a leafy area outside the city centre. 🏡 In Riga, the capital of Latvia, construction work is commencing on the Blūmendāles Majas project, with 58 eco-friendly and functional homes. Each of these projects will feature rooftop solar panels and electric car charging infrastructure, and, in several of the projects, residents will have access to a shared bicycle workshop.   Read more about our projects here: https://lnkd.in/d7vTQ4hf
