    Internal Hiring - How To Spot and Develop Agile Learners 🚀 Thank you, Oslo! 🇳🇴 Today, we had an incredible morning session discussing the importance of internal hiring and how to spot and develop agile learners to enhance internal mobility, together with the Oslo TA community. A big thank you to everyone who attended 🙌 On stage, we had Sofia Palmelius Kolga and Hira Wasif, together with guest speaker Sam Joukhadar, Global Head of Talent Acquisition at SEB, who shared a powerful insight: "The message I want to say is that this (science-backed methods to measure learning agility) is not a theory. We tried it for 4 years, and it's been proven that it is working.” 💡 Did you know that teams with high learning agility are 1.5 times more likely to respond effectively to unpredictable circumstances and enjoy 25% more innovation? It’s clear that organisations aiming to stay ahead must prioritise hiring individuals who can adapt, learn quickly, and handle uncertainty. Some of our key takeaways from the discussions: 💡 The world is changing faster than ever. We know already from research with old data that learning agility is key for internal recruitment, but we expect it to become increasingly more important as digitalisation is moving faster than ever before. 💡 91% of the audience say that learning agility is important or very important for their organisations; however, 68% of the audience are not measuring learning agility in the hiring process that can be used for future internal hiring. 💡 When we asked the audience about their top management’s view on internal agility, the majority said that their top management recognise the importance but have no strategy for how to target it. 💡 Hiring teams are in the driver’s seat of supporting learning and development teams. By making sure our organisations hire people with high learning agility, we ease the workload of our L&D teams since we have ensured we have people who are learning faster and are more adaptable to change in their personalities.
