2023 is now formally closed, as we released our Year End Report today🚀. Despite challenging market conditions, we continue to be a leading Nordic edtech company with additional home markets in the UK and France. Why is Fika so important for us? ☕ It's no surprise that we at Albert love Fika. We organise at least one Fika a week where all colleagues get the chance to treat themselves. We believe that regular coffee breaks can improve work performance by renewing energy levels and combating fatigue. Taking a short break for coffee can help employees feel refreshed and more ready to face their tasks effectively. Albert 💙 animals There is a lot of evidence that bringing your pet into the workplace can reduce stress. It can also solve the everyday puzzle for many families. And that leads to healthier staff, increased job satisfaction and a better working environment. How good does that sound!? At Albert, animals are more than welcome in our office; we always have a food bowl ready and a large area for them to play. A new year with Albert Junior! 🌟 After a short break for Christmas and New Year celebrations, we are finally back in the office. A new year means lots of news and features planned both in terms of our apps but also collaborations. Parents out there! How do you perceive the expression “screen time”? 💭📱 For many, it has a negative connotation, and is associated with bad habits or conflicts around restrictions that are rarely kept to. Your children strive to sit more and more in front of a screen, while you, as a parent, want to cut down on use. It's important to see that there are differences between screen time and screen time, where research shows that educational interactive apps and early training in mathematics, for example, has positive effects on children’s learning. The PISA results for 2022 showed that screen time can make a difference. You just have to use it in the right way. The Christmas holidays are approaching, and last week, we had our annual Christmas party 🎄 This time, our dear colleagues from Strawbees joined us - the more, the merrier! There was good food, games and lots of laughter. This year, we also had an "ugly Christmas sweater" theme, adding to the Christmas spirit. Our experts came to visit 🙋💡 As a parent, you can probably recognise the feeling when the children finally have a holiday, but you yourself do not have the opportunity to be free...
