How old is Smaug, the dragon, in The Hobbit?
Wikipedia says Smaug drove the dwarves out of their mountain stronghold 150 years prior to the events of The Hobbit. But it doesn't mention his age.
Tolkien Gateway says Smaug's birthyear is unknown.
