Rather, that was her pride and power projecting to Frodo's mind. And when she turned her back on the ring, she also finally rejected the Oath of Feanor ("I will go West ...") and her prideful former self. What remains is a child wanting to get back to her parents. Well, at least that's how I understand that scene :). | |
