1I'm pretty sure a lot of it had to do with the fact that before he was at Hogwarts he was living at the whims of the Dursleys. I doubt they made it a very high priority to visit, or even mention the Potters outside of how much of a burden they had put on Vernon and Petunia with leaving Harry to them.– Monty129Commented Mar 27, 2014 at 12:21

4For some people, graves don't mean much meaning. I have no interest in visiting the graves of my friends/relatives who have died. It's not a reflection of how I feel about those people, just that I can "speak to them" regardless of where I am, without traveling to some grave.– phantom42Commented Mar 27, 2014 at 13:37

A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
Type the name of the science fictional or fantastical work your question is about (Example:
star-wars
).For questions not specific to any one work, use concept tags to describe your question (Example:
story-identification
).Tagging rules:
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. story-identification), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
