Aug 5, 2022 at 12:50 comment added mattdm @MichaelSeifert Yeah, rare on ships (other examples are usually emergency situations!), but it's the standard on stations — off the top of my head from the first two books I can remember it specifically mentioned on ring stations like Tycho and Thoth, and spun-up asteroids Ceres and Eros.

I'm about halfway through the TV series and so far I've seen one ship (the Nauvoo/Behemoth) that has spin gravity. There may be more in the books and/or in later parts of the story, though.
