2Well, that's part of the dominant status of Christianity in the United States in a certain sense, isn't it? Christians kind of get to assume that a character without explicit signifiers is Christian, whereas Muslims, Jews, Hindus, atheists, and so forth can't really take it for granted.– AdamantCommented Jul 5, 2022 at 16:36
