However Zelazny is cited as one of the major influences on D&D in the infamous Appendix N of the original DMs Guide. He was one of Gary Gygax's favourite authors and it is speculated that spells like Shadowalk and some of the functioning of the planes were inspired by the orginal Amber series published 1970-1976 and earlier works like Jack of Shadows. | |
