    @Gallifreyan - The Master (in her Missy incarnation) said that the Doctor’s name was “Doctor Who” just a few episodes ago. ;)

    @DaveJohnson Yes, exactly. The character's name is the Doctor, but if you mention "The Doctor" to anybody without sufficient context, naturally their reply will be "Doctor Who?"
