  • At issue really is why did 'old' Spock give up on finding a way to change things back? They didn't give up when they found the Guardian of Forever and had to change things back to prevent millions from dying that did not die before...so it's likely this reboot won't last very long. I wrote a mini-book that I posted in my blog on how it COULD be changed back. Because other events didn't take place that had an impact on the past, prior to the event that brought Nero and Spock to the past.
