With over 30 participants from 13 different countries, the atmosphere was filled with diverse perspectives and innovative ideas. Our participants rocked it with cutting-edge science talks, hands-on workshops, and plenty of fun, including engaging cultural activities and unforgettable experiences. The two-day regional conference called "The Power of Parenthood", jointly organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, the UNICEF Serbia, as well as the regional representation of UNICEF for Europe and Central Asia, brought together experts from various fields of education, pedagogy, social protection, and many others. As a company that pays special attention to the importance of the parenthood of its employees, we had the unique privilege to participate in one of the most interesting panels during the conference and present how companies can and must help parents in their most important tasks. At the beginning of the panel, we had the unique honor of hearing the opening remarks of one of the world's greatest experts in this field, James Cairns, Senior Director of the Department of Strategic Engagements and Organizational Learning at the Center for Child Development, at Harvard University. Our dear Anja A., a member of the UNICEF Business Advisory Board, spoke about the positive influence and ways of support that are successfully applied in our company, reminding those present that flexible working hours, free Summer IT camp and basketball school for the youngest ones, additional days off for new dads, reduced workload for new moms, as well as all other activities we organize, we perceive not as costs, but investments in our people and children. Anja emphasized the importance of the prequalification project for the parents of the children with disabilities that our company organizes, as it enables them to choose a vocational path that allows parents to fully dedicate themselves both to career development and their children. 32 students from 13 different nationalities are attending the 14th #tCSC Thematic CERN School of Computing on #Heterogeneous Architectures. The #school is organised by the #CERN IT Department, in collaboration with Comtrade Group and it is hosted at the ITS – Visoka škola strukovnih studija za informacione tehnologije, in Belgrade #Serbia. As part of our commitment to empowering and inspiring young people, we proudly celebrated #GirlsInICT Day at our offices in Kragujevac. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting an engaging and informative lecture for 38 girls from three elementary schools in Kragujevac. It was a truly meaningful experience to have a chance to showcase the vast array of opportunities within our industry to these talented, ambitious, and determined girls. 💻🌐 We are firmly convinced that some of them will undoubtedly emerge as our future colleagues and leaders in the ICT industry.
