Say for example, my group is fighting a group of archers. Bard casts Darkness. We determine that the archers can see through the darkness, as they are hitting each of their shots. Can the bard end concentration on the Darkness spell the moment the party realizes that they can see through the darkness or does he have to wait until his turn?

  • \$\begingroup\$ it would be interesting on if the group are 100% sure that the enemy archers can see them using some extra ability or magic item to pierce the magical darkness, rather than the disadvantage rolls are still just being lucky enough to be successful. 2 die rolling at 19 and 18 is still a disadvantage roll but the 1 point difference might not enough to change it from a hit to a miss. \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jun 30 at 17:23
