Mar 28, 2021 at 14:20 | comment | added | Peter Cordes | @Medix2: And here there's an obvious narrative mechanism: the spell just makes a super bright light which effectively blinds creatures for a minute, via normal physical / physiological mechanisms. 5e isn't going to try to simulate more accurately than that, or make allowances for a Warforged with faster-recovering optical sensors. Anyway, no need to assume that the spell's magic is directly involved in the ongoing blindness, so the RAW behaviour of lasting for a full minute isn't a problem. | |
