🐝 💮 Remember that amazing weekend we had at the bee hives near Bucharest? It's been a week already, but memories are still vivid! We wanted to share more of our experience with you, so we've put together a video to capture these awesome moments. In our visit, Dumitru (Adi) Comșa shared fascinating insights into how bees organize themselves by age and roles within the hive. We were amazed by the view inside the hive with glass walls, where we witnessed their teamwork. After the demonstration, equipped with beekeeping gear, we ventured into the apiary, observing the bees at work. We even had the opportunity to assist Adi in crafting frames for the new hives, gaining hands-on experience in beekeeping techniques. 🐝 ☀ What an amazing weekend we had! Yesterday, we visited Dumitru Comșa and his bee hives in Ghergani, near Bucharest. Dumitru is a dedicated beekeeper who upholds the timeless traditions of his craft with immense passion. It was truly an honor to learn from him. During our visit, we learned so much about how bees survive, even in challenging conditions worsened by climate change. It's eye-opening to see how much their lives have changed in just the last decade. One of the most interesting parts of our adventure was getting to peek inside a hive with glass walls, where we could watch the bees buzzing about and working together like a perfect team. We even got our beekeeping gloves a little sticky in the apiary, experiencing firsthand how hardworking and fascinating bees are outside of their hives. 💛 Huge thanks to Dumitru Comșa and the Adoptă un stup association for this unforgettable adventure!
