PROS: It has its own mobile app and updates rather swiftly. It's capable of storing large volumes of data. In just a matter of clicks, I'm able to take a peek as to who signed up for my classes including their name and contact details. I can even check people in and have payments processed within the app itself!

CONS: Don't get me wrong. The app did me tremendously through thick and thin. But once every other while, it would have its glitches and would have me close and restart the app.

PROS: Lots of bells and whistles. Easy to use. Fancy interface.

CONS: Price quadrupled in four years for the package that had the capacity for recurring gym memberships. Customer support is terrible. Half a dozen people will give you 12 different answers. If you decide to leave it will cost a lot of money go half the information you were supposed to get.

PROS: I like that I can easily book an appointment and keep track of everyone’s schedule for specific date and I can see my schedule by both day and week. Also, beside the booking and scheduling, it allows me to keep track of payroll report, availability and client’s info.

CONS: It can be really hard when it comes to modifying schedule time because first thing you need to do is to change the time block availability and at the end you can adjust the time. Also, I teach at two different studios and my employees and clients have an access but I cannot be signed in to more than one account at the same time so I have to log in/out constantly.

PROS: Nothing, it has always been a poor product, we should have started with something else.

CONS: Their payment processing system marked nearly $3,000 of transactions in 2019 as 'Settled', even though the transactions were actually voided and were never paid. We made them aware of this issue in Jan 2019 and still haven't been able to fix this problem (Feb 2020). If you don't like receiving the money you work hard for, Mindbody is for you. Most incompetent company I've ever seen. Their priority is volume, not in quality anymore. Their support staff acknowledges there's a problem, but cannot fix it.

PROS: I really do not have positive review on that product

CONS: 1) there a bugs: you buy this app to SAVE TIME AND USE LESS STAFF, you have a lot of information that you stores the bugs arrive 2 years after your start with us, no follup, they say it is not a priority to the compagny of mind body to solve the bugs that your need to save time I have been waiting for 1 month that mind body resolve the bug that add work, time to my staff that I have to pay more to do the job instead of the app MIND BODY DO NOT COMPENSATE MIND BODY DO NOT CARE MIND BODY ASK TO GO ELSE WHERE IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY EASY TO DO AFTER 2 YEARS OF USE AND ALL THAT INFO THAT HAD BEEN STORED ON MINDBODY

PROS: In my experience, this is perfect tool for scheduling, account and user profile management. It does almost everything! It allows us to run reports and to keep track of classes and their performances, we are able to see our attendance averages, class pass reports and membership. It is great solution for streamlining our organization. We can keep student records and profiles.

CONS: I have found that there are some features that are hard to use, but its team always work on the product friendliness. I cannot easilly see scheduled classes, workshops and appointments in one place. It has some glitches.

PROS: - It's highly excepted in the fitness community - Works with gym membership, classes, training and therapy - Clients can easily find your business

CONS: #1 - (This just happened) Change in rates - The reporting is all over the place - The app is glitchy and mixes up clients (search for one person and get someone different) - Can't fill out SOAP notes from the app - Waivers are horrible - You basically need to upgrade to another partnered service - Email and text reminders are hit and miss - You'll also need to find an email service (like Aweber or MailChimp) if you send out announcements. - The overall price for what you get is too expensive

PROS: The software is pretty easy to figure out however the bad too far outweighs the good

CONS: THEY CONSTANTLY DISRUPT BUSINESS - When you crash as often as MindBody does it really doesn't matter whether your software is easy to use or not. They also choose to launch software updates and perform maintenance during peak business hours which constantly disrupts business. They scheduled maintenance on Saturday, 5/18 (Mother's Day Weekend) and again on Saturday 5/25 (Memorial Day Weekend) this month! They don't have any consideration for the clients who are relying on their software to run their business. One outage on 4/5/18 lasted THE WHOLE DAY!!! Then the following day their credit card processors went down almost an entire day and this was a busy Friday for us. They majorly altered their software system and implemented in on Saturday 3/3/18 which severely disrupted business. All of a sudden our front desk staff could not book clients services, close out the register, or tip service providers out. They stated that this was now the Essentials Package. THEY STOLE THOUSANDS FROM OUT CLIENTS ACCOUNTS - They discontinued our clients rewards and took all the money that they had earned from their accounts. Some of our clients had been earning these funds for a decades. We had thousands affected! THEIR CREDIT CARD PROCESSING WONT ACCEPT ALL CREDIT CARDS - They switched us over so that they could function as our credit card processor this last year and assured us that nothing would change, however because of the way they process transactions prepaid credit cards like visa, mastercard, etc can no longer be used as a form of payment. THEY HOLD YOUR CLIENT DATA HOSTAGE - Additionally, when we leave we will have to pay them ~$1k for our own clients information to have it transferred to the new company . . . OUR OWN CLIENTS!!!

PROS: I like that we can access client’s history and add notes to every account. We are able to book appointments. Also, the online booking is great idea and the app works perfectly.

CONS: I feel that it can be overwhelmed because there are lot of options within the tool. There are lot of ways to do something and sometimes it can be confused for others.

PROS: This app offers a great service and worthy options. Regardless of business size, they have available plans that work around your budget to help jumpstart your business. Props their excellent customer service.

CONS: There's nothing that I really hate with MINDBODY. But it'd be cool to have some sort of functionality that lets me take charge in controlling or cancelling classes via a smartphone or tablet. But then again, the app is constantly being updated so it's really a matter of time before it'll actually happen.

PROS: I’m using this software to help my clients. I like that the program has its own depth and you can clearly see how much work the team behind it has put in to it. It is perfect solution for booking any type of businesses. The customer service is great team, they are always willing to help and always accessible.

CONS: I don’t like that it’s not intuitive solution, especially if you are not tech savvy. It can be hard to figure out how it works maybe because they constantly release new features. They could create an integration with Mailchimp. Also, there is no multilingual support. If you pay for premium version make sure that you are using its advanced features.

PROS: The functionality of their site as well as their Express, Connect, and Check-in apps are pretty cool. Connect does it job in getting our clients to book class appointments. I can utilize Express even if Wi-Fi is absent or if I'm away from my desktop PC. Check-in helped us go paperless!

CONS: It would be an improvement if the Check-in app would do more than just peek at what'll happen in the next few hours. There will be times when clients would want a birds eye view of their classes.

PROS: Once you learn it how it works you can navigate it easily. You can easily accomplish daily tasks and to be more organized. I like that lot of things are automated and because of this we are able to reduce lot of errors.

CONS: To speak the truth, MBO is not easy to learn, but the good thing is that as soon as you figure out how it works you’ll see that it is easy to use and easy to navigate. It is large software, and even though I used it with several fitness studios I still cannot use this software to its fullest.
