PROS: It has comprehensive functionalities that make it a powerful tool. With Kenshoo, it is easy to take from multiple platforms and integrate it into one place. By so doing, you will be able to analyze it with ease and make a decision on where to make changes and where to take your marketing campaigns. With features such as bulk edits, scheduling, labeling, and filtering, you will be able to customize and manage your accounts with ease. It advocates for teamwork where you can include multiple users to join the platform, generate reports based on different campaigns and share with other users. As such, you will be able to brainstorm based on the reports generated on what to do next.

CONS: It has a few things that I did not like about it. When it comes to pulling data for keyword reports, it limits you in terms of the timeline. You cannot download or view data for the past 3 or 4 months for the keywords used. This seems to be a great drawback on our part as we are unable to download data on keywords report for the past year as it is designed to do so for only a few months. Also, the ad feature is not that reliable for analyzing different ads that we have used in the past and their impact in terms of driving traffic. This is because it only downloads the date and not the statistics which we are interested in. It would also be nice if it integrated with Yahoo Gemini since it is a powerful and trending ad platform.

PROS: It has a simple and automated reporting ability where you can direct the report to excel. This makes it easy for one to interpret or check that report even when offline. With the reliable campaign management functionality, our team is able to manage the campaigns with ease and save a lot of time as a result. It has a great and powerful administrative support where as an admin you will be able to control how other users login, and make edits to the fields within the system. Kenshoo offers a convenient platform for bidding and making changes to where the URLs target as it is highly customizable.

CONS: It could use a lot of adjustments to make it more reliable as a campaign management tool. The fact that is does not have that easy to use interface makes it unreliable to some point to a new user. It can take a new user a lot of time to get the hang of things. It is with this that they could either include more tutorials about how a newcomer can learn how different features work in the program or make it user friendly. On top of that, editing ads takes a lot of time since you have to do so for both the search engine and the product. The bid rules can also be complex to use especially if you are not used to bidding.

PROS: Managing budgets is essential if you are to be success in your work as an account manager. Kenshoo gives you the ability to be on top of things when it comes to spending in your campaigns. You can keep clients informed of how their campaigns are doing. With the reporting feature, this is possible to great lengths. You do not have to worry about whether you have reported to the client or not as the scheduling functionality takes care of this. You will be able to automatically share reports with clients through scheduling. Also, the customer support is top notch as it is available 24/7 which is a great thing for us as we deal with clients in multiple time zones.

CONS: I believe that Kenshoo still has room for improvement when it comes to functionalities. Although a great tool, I would love to see more of additional features to make it a complete campaign management tool. For the case of updates they inform users of, they take too long to come through. For example, you might get a news update of an upcoming update for the product. However, it takes years for that update to come through which can be frustrating. It is okay to wait for a few months, but when it gets to years of waiting from the time you receive the news update, it is not realistic.

PROS: It is an all-round tool when it comes to managing your accounts. When you want to pull data based on the metrics of how each of the campaign is performing, you can do so with ease. The fact that it integrates with Google Analytics makes it very easy to pull those metrics and customize them in a way that you target the right keywords and audience in order to drive traffic. It also helps you to create campaigns own Facebook and compare with other campaigns across multiple channels. It is possible to view all those campaigns from a single platform which adds to the efficiency that comes with this product.

CONS: It is obvious that every product out there in the market will have a few glitches. No product is perfect and it is the same case with Kenshoo. We use Facebook a lot in terms of our marketing campaigns to drive traffic and convert. It is a good thing that Kenshoo integrates well with that platform which is a plus on our side. However, due to unexplained circumstances, we have been having some temporal glitches that deter us from making any changes to our campaigns on Facebook. It could be the fault of Facebook rather than Kenshoo since they have made changes on their platform to bring about such a glitch. All in all, we are happy with the highly responsive customer support by Kenshoo team.

PROS: It is a highly customizable tool which allows me to edit the dashboard the way I want. I can build a client dashboard and allow them to see what I want them to see. For example, I can schedule reports to be shared among the clients within the system. The reports will be able to show them the days and time when conversion is highest. This way, we are able to track different campaigns across multiple channels and how they are performing in terms of conversion. Apart from that it allows me to share with clients on which path to take in order to achieve the best conversion rate. Kenshoo gives you the ability to call track which allows you to reach out directly to a lead and thus make conversion easy and fast.

CONS: I like the reporting feature. However, it can be complex or confusing to use at times. When searching for a report you have recently generated, it can be difficult to locate it. I would prefer a simple and easy way through which the reports can be grouped depending on when you generated them. This would make it easy to pull a report easily for a specific date and time without much hustle. Apart from that, it would be nice if the developers of the tool could allow for more customization on those reports. This would help to make work easier and smoothen the entire process of generating, pulling and sharing of those reports with your colleagues.

PROS: It is a very intuitive tool. It offers seamless support in terms of viewing how your different campaigns are performing. You will be able to know which campaigns are performing well and for those which are performing poorly, you can adjust where necessary to keep them afloat. It has a reliable reporting functionality here you can pull up reports whenever you need to and share with your teammates. The reports are also simple to interpret ad understand. Once you share with your team, they will be able to get up to speed in no time and contribute on the way forward within a short period.

CONS: It does not offer the integration that I need to perform my duties effectively. With Yahoo Gemini being a favorite ad platform in the market for the modern adverting campaigns, it needs to be compatible with Kenshoo Editor. However, this is not the case and thus I have to manually upload things on the Gemini which can be time consuming. The tool does not synch well with the ad campaign platform which gives me more headache in term of managing campaigns while I am using this platform. It would be better if in the next upgrade they could offer integration with Gemini for a smooth experience.

PROS: It offers the utmost visibility to know how much you are spending in your campaigns plus your budget. This means that you will be able control what you spend in paid search ads and keep that spending within the budget. This is made possible to through the critical tracking of campaigns while maximizing on campaigns with the highest rerun on investment. It helps you to audit the performance of your campaigns and generate reports to discuss with your team. As such, you will be able to know which areas to make changes so that the less performing campaigns can pick up with speed. The bidding functionality is also cutting edge and offers a great platform on which you can easily bid and become active in managing your campaigns on a daily basis.

CONS: Although a great tool, I feel that it can be complex at times. It has too many features where it can be difficult or confusing to find the feature that you want from the interface. It would be nice if they could make all the features to be easily accessible to users whenever they want. The bidding feature is impressive for users to bid without much hustle. However, they only allow a single bid profile for a single account. Since we run both search and shopping campaigns, we are forced to have 2 bidding profile for the 2 accounts which can be cumbersome and hence not that reliable. It would be better if they allowed more than 1 bidding profile for a single account. Also, the analysis grid is separate from the product which makes it difficult to handle high volumes of accounts.

PROS: It has a many good things in store to offer for managing your campaigns. To start things off, there is the ability to quickly create campaigns. The editor plays a huge role in this as you will be able to create campaigns that bring results and determine how those results will be prior to creating it. Apart from that, the editor makes quick work of the bulk upload into the system. You do not have to deal with bulk sheets as the editor functionality helps you to copy and upload the changes in bulk on the go. For the advanced search, it gives you the ability to filter what you do not want and remain with what you want. It is one of the most prominent features that Kenshoo has and makes it easy and quick to make changes where you want.

CONS: It seems to have problems with updating the data feed. It can be frustrating when you want to see data feed for today so that you can easily manage or check how your campaigns are doing however, it only shows data for the day before which means that have to go an extra mile in order to pull the current data feed. I opt to go tofu the search engines to see which data is for today. It would be nice if the developers of this tool could make those changes and help users to see data in real time for efficiency in the use of Kenshoo.

PROS: It is a great tool to work with. When managing your marketing campaigns, you will need a tool that makes your work easier in terms of the changes you want to make in order to drive traffic. I have used both Marin and Kenshoo and I can say without fear of contradiction that the latter is unmatched. It has the best functionality for the any similar tool I have used in the market. With the ability to make changes to keywords and campaigns in order to suit your needs managing the campaigns has been effortless. It has a reliable search feature that is not only easy to use but also allows you to track the changes in your campaigns which include where you want the URLs to for and ads changes within a short period.

CONS: It is not that intuitive when it comes to the user interface. When uploading bulk changes to the interface, Kenshoo does not bring the simplicity it deserves s compared to Marin. It offers a more complex and longer way through which you can upload in bulk into the interface. You have to go through the Kenshoo Editor which can not only be time consuming but difficult for new users. For the Marin, it is just a case of copy and paste and there you have your bulk uploads in place. However, for Kenshoo, you will need to upload in CSV format which could attract errors and thus it would be nice to make this more intuitive.
